The

Redbird

Project

Economic Liberation

  • The Redbird Project initiative was created to honor our dear ancestor Iverson W. Lane; who fought U.S. colonialism and secured a partial victory at the Supreme Court of the colonizing regime in a battle over voting rights in 1939: Lane v. Wilson.

Mayor Iverson W. Lane was a respected community & business leader in the all-Black town of Redbird, OK. Instead of becoming a sellout to the colonial regime, he leveraged his class position to fight to free African people from the terrorism and genocidal policies the U.S.

We extend this work to liberate Africans from colonial domination including the neo-colonial, and neo-liberal structures that use the masquerade of reforms to weaken international African sovereignty. AFRICOM must be dissolved! We are in international solidarity with African organizations, institutions, which must secure Africa for the benefit of the African masses. The resources of our mother continent must be governed to improve the material conditions of African people through equitable distribution makes the people wealthy.

The Mission

Ecosystems of Peace

The purpose of our project is to generate and strengthen economic pipelines which connect African people to resources and quality services  globally. Holistic investments increase project viability, eliminate poverty, and facilitate collective healing, innovation, and cultural exchange.

Wells of Brilliance

The Redbird Project (TRbP) focuses on cultivating collective material uplift in the context of our histories & cultures. We must synthesize lessons & accomplishments of the African diaspora and our Motherland.

  • Values Based Process

Our trainings and courses affirm the best of our culture(s). Our family, spiritual, and care-taking roots anchor our dealings and treatment of each other. Maat is our governing essence. Stewardship is our protocol.

Legacy

We messure governance success by the total impact on the people. We ask:

1) How does the action benefit the masses?

2) Did a policy produce any harms?

2) How do we protect the people from internal and external exploitation?

  1. Economic Philosophy

This universal tenet can be readily observed at any of our cookouts – anywhere on the planet. It is summarized  by two words:

Everybody Eats!

Leveraging Tech

Tech tools provide opportunities to subvert colonial structures and build connectivity. Africa must develop independent infrastructure and networks. Tech resources must be liberated from colonial exploitation in Congo & other regions.
