The

Redbird

Project

Economic Liberation

The Redbird Project initiative was created to honor our dear ancestor Iverson W. Lane; who fought U.S. apartheid and was victorious in the Supreme Court battle over voting rights in 1939: Lane v. Wilson.

Mayor Iverson W. Lane was a highly influential leader in the all-Black town of Redbird, OK. As a business and community leader, he leveraged his position in the fight to free Black people from terrorism and genocide in the U.S.

We extend this work to liberate Africans from neo-colonial, and neo-liberal structures. AFRICOM must be dissolved! We are in international solidarity with pan-African organizations, institutions, and conceptual initiatives such as the African Union Agenda 2063.

The Mission

Ecosystems of Peace

The purpose of our project is to strengthen economic pipelines which connect African people to quality services globally. Holistic investments increase project viability, reduce poverty, and facilitate collective healing, innovation, and exchange.

Wells of Brilliance

The Redbird Project (TRbP) focuses on cultivating and supporting the collective genus of the African diaspora and our Mother homeland.

Values Based Process

Our trainings and courses affirm the best of our culture(s). Our family, spiritual, and care-taking roots anchor our dealings and treatment of each other. Maat is our governing essence.

Legacy

Two key questions frame the rubric that oppressed Africans must use to measure the impact of our actions:

1) How does it free us?

2) How does it keep us free?

Economic Philosophy

This universal tenet can be readily observed at any of our cookouts – anywhere on the planet. It is summarized  by two words:

Everybody Eats!

Leveraging Tech

Tech tools provide opportunities to subvert colonial structures and build alternatives. Tech allows us to convene, communitate, and connect while neutralizing geographical barriers.
